CEDRS Mediator Leslie Kushner.
As a Mediator (L.A. County Bar certification 2001) Ms. Kushner has served on the L.A. Superior Court Mediation Panel, for the City of West Hollywood (Dispute Resolution Services), IVJC (Inland Valleys Justice Center: Case Manager/Mediator) and for the City of Hawthorne with their VORS (Victim/Offender Restitution Services) and FARS (Families Able to Resolve Situations) programs.
Ms. Kushner, a professional designer/space planner for over 30 years, served on the Planning and Construction Committee of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, the Board of NHFL (National Home Fashions League) now IFDA as well as numerous boards and committees for ISID (International Society of Interior Designers). She was ISID outgoing President in 1995 the year they merged with IIDA. She is currently a Professional Member of IIDA (International Interior Design Association) and Board Member Emeritus of DLF (Designers Lighting Forum). Additional recent credits include ”Certified Sustainability Training” for GREEN leaders dealing with environmental concerns, and certification as a “Citizen Arborist”. She has been a speaker and panelist for numerous trade related programs and continues to promote mediation alternatives within the design/architecture/construction industries.
Leslie Kushner is uniquely qualified in bringing meaningful understanding to mediations in her areas of expertise and is able to do this with both authority and calm demeanor. In addition, her international work experience has helped to give her an excellent reference into cultural diversities.
