For the past 25 years, Mr. Lorant has had a thriving law practice in the San Fernando Valley. Mr. Lorant has developed a clientele of numerous Police Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department, Oxnard Police Department, Compton Unified School District Police Department, the Culver City Police Department, and deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Mr. Lorant also works closely with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, filing counter-claims and cross-complaints on behalf of individual police officers in civil rights cases filed against the officers.

Mr. Lorant served as a panel attorney with the Los Angeles Police Protective League representing league members facing administrative, civil, and criminal charges. He is also an officer on the Board of Directors of the Southwestern University School of Law and sits as an “as needed” Judge (Referee) for the Los Angeles Superior Court in both Traffic Juvenile Dependency and Delinquency Matters.

Mr. Lorant has also served as a judge pro tem for the Los Angeles Municipal Court and the Los Angeles Superior Court for over 19 years as well as served as a Panel Member of Settlement Referees for the CRASH Settlement Conference Program of Los Angeles Superior Court and North Central District for over 5 Years.
